This conference will try to answer these questions, drawing on a national survey of Diocesan Bishops. The survey, carried out recently, showed Bishops see Deaneries as essential in the furtherance of mission, and in managing and allocating resources.
The discussions will form a report for Bishops, and others involved in strategic planning advising on an effective role for the Deaneries in the future Whether you are new and just starting out at this Deanery thing or an experienced hand, this conference is an opportunity to learn from and share experiences, explore future possibilities and build confidence to realise the potential of the Deanery.
